Our Mission

Following our Bishop’s call to Grow in Prayer, Make new Disciples and Serve the People of Devon with Joy, our church seeks to offer a warm welcome to all. In our worship, prayer is a key part and is enhanced by good choral music and a strong sense of its individual members, being the living presence of Christ.

Discipleship takes many forms and all our members actively play a part in supporting all that we do, both in the day to day running of our church and in a variety of activities and events throughout the year. Our church enjoys a warm sense of family which is reflected in the parish as a whole.

The team ministry is led by the Team Rector, Rev’d Jim Barlow, who is assisted by other clergy and lay readers. In particular, Rev’d Chris Martin is the Associate Priest for Stoke Gabriel, residing in the Vicarage and providing a focused ministry to the parish.
