Parish Magazine

Although the magazine is managed by the Parochial Church Council, it is a parish magazine covering items of community-wide interest. It is produced every month and is one of the principal means of sharing information among parishioners, whether or not they have a Christian faith and whether or not they are regular worshipers.

The content is thus not limited to church activities but extends to activities of many secular organisations and clubs within the parish. It typically contains an introductory piece from our resident priest, a list of church services for the month and notices and reports of various church organisations. In addition, it contains contributions from time to time from the Parish Council, the Village School and Pre-School, the boating association, the football and cricket clubs, the arts club, the Women’s Institute, the British Legion and other organisations and societies. It is a valuable source of information for parishioners, not only for upcoming events but also for local businesses and services that are advertised.

If you have something to report or bring to the notice of parishioners, then please send it to the editor. Copy is normally required about the middle of the preceding month. If you wish to receive a printed copy of the magazine, delivered to your door, on a monthly basis at an annual cost of £6, then please contact the distributor. Otherwise, it is freely available as a linked file from the home page of the Parish Church web site.
