Church of St Mary and St Gabriel in the Totnes Mission Community

Our Mission

Under the headings of our Bishop’s call to Grow in Prayer, Make new Disciples and Serve the People of Devon with Joy, our church seeks to offer a warm welcome to all. In our worship, prayer is a key part and is enhanced by good choral music and a strong sense of its individual members, being the living presence of Christ.

Central to church life is the support, nurture, protection and safeguarding of every individual, especially the young and vulnerable.

Discipleship takes many forms and all our members actively play a part in supporting all that we do, both in the day to day running of our church and in a variety of activities and events throughout the year. Our church enjoys a warm sense of family which is reflected in the parish as a whole and new members are readily welcomed to join in.
